Objective is to bring up the children to become independent – socially as well as economically. They extend their services to the children who are intellectually challenged, cerebral palsied, physically challenged, autistic, hearing impaired and orthopaedically handicapped.Few of the areas of intervention are Daily living skills, Socialization, Communication, Pre-academic skills, Practical Mathematics, Language, Motor Development, Behaviour modification are. Besides academic programme, they emphasize on art and craft activity by the special children which can also be pursued as a means of employment.For this their prevocational section guides the special children who are in the age group of 14 to 16 years. For the grown up children who are above 16 years of age, development of vocational skill is the main thrust area.
