BELINDA HENDERSON
Belinda has a Masters in Applied Psychology and a Bachelors of Psychology. She intends to pursue a Clinical Psychology doctorate programme in the United Kingdom. Her first career was in the music industry before having her children and then working as a volunteer crisis counsellor within the Edinburgh City Mission. Belinda has dual roles at Solstice as Clinical Psychology Assistant and Group Lead. In her Clinical Psychology Assistant role Belinda sees clients for individual and group therapy under the supervision of registered Psychologists. As Group Lead Belinda is responsible for designing, managing and coordinating the extensive group programme at Solstice. Belinda has a particular passion for female psychology. She aspires to define and embed into research her belief that women can overcome the challenges across their lifespan, if they have access to specialised care and support which considers their unique, ever-changing biological, social and psychological needs.
