Blue Lakes Elementary School
It is the mission of Blue Lakes Elementary is to inspire and influence each student to reach their full academic learning potential in order to be a successful citizen in a multicultural and technologically-driven society. These academies are strictly for our Special Education population, servicing students in the Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) and IND students. In addition, Blue Lakes currently houses students in general curriculum from PK-5th grade. Furthermore, Blue Lakes houses two gifted pull-out units that service students from 1st to 5th. School to home connections are fostered through PTA activities, monthly calendars, school website, Connect ED, EESAC, and email are all designed to keep parents abreast of developments in the classrooms and the school community. Blue Lakes incorporates the Florida Standards curriculum and puts in practice differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students. In addition, we have partnered with several community leaders to enhance the learning experiences and success for our students through various school-wide events.
