Here is some basic information about our programs. The Brookings School District provides special education services to approximately 520 students in our schools. We serve children from birth to age 21, who are determined to be in need of special education services. Our students are served by a wonderful team of professionals, including qualified special education teachers, special education teaching assistants, speech/language therapists, occupational and physical therapists as well as school psychologists and behavior specialists.
