Dr Jo Elliott
Since graduating with a BSc Hons in Psychology in 2000 I have helped to improve the lives of many children and their families. I gained my doctorate and qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2007. I have extensive experience working within the NHS with children, young people, families and support networks with a huge range of different experiences, cultures, values and beliefs. I am committed to providing an extremely high quality of service and expert care, which is tailored to the specific needs of the child and their family. I am a member of the British Psychological Society, the Health & Care Professions Council and the EMDR Association UK and Ireland, all of which require very high standards in terms of training, professional skills and behaviour. I also have specialist training in Theraplay, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale, Sensory Integration, from Sleep Scotland, and in specific behaviour management approaches. I am an accredited EMDR practitioner.
