Dr. Vikram Sharma is a Senior Consultant Neurologist in the Department of Neurology, Max Institute of Neurosciences, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun. Prior to joining Max Hospitals, Dr Sharma worked as Senior Consultant Neurologist at Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad; Consultant Neurologist at St. Theresa’s Hospitals, Hyderabad; Consultant Neuro-physician at Prime Hospital, Hyderabad; Consultant Neuro-specialist in the department of neuro-oncology at Omega Hospitals, Hyderabad. Working as the head of neurology department at St. Theresa Hospital, Dr Sharma led the stroke unit and research department. At Omega Hospitals he was the only super specialist in the neuro oncology department. Dr Vikram Sharma has overall 17 years of experience in the field of neurology.His prime areas of interest include Epilepsy, Stroke, Migraine, Headache, Spinal Disorders,Pain management and Neuro Oncology. He is a member of several associations including World Stroke Association and the Indian Stroke Association. He has also been editor of the journal “Neurology Critics”.
