Geena Schmidt
Geena received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in 2017. Geena is excited to join the team, as of August 2022.Geena has gained experience through opportunities working in pediatric clinics, daycares, and hospitals. Her areas of interests include executive functioning, self care tasks, feeding disorders, social emotional learning, and sensory integration. Geena is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Feeding Approach which integrates motor, oral, behavioral/learning, medical, sensory, and nutritional factors into treatment for children with feeding concerns. She has led food groups and treated children individually in collaboration with their parents.
