Kaity Lokey
Kaity is an ASHA certified speech language pathologist. She graduated from Loyola University Maryland with her Bachelors of Arts in 2009 and Masters of Science in speech-language pathology in 2011. She has experience in a range of clinical and educational settings, including private practice, outpatient clinics, and the school system with a special focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Kaity has worked with a range of disorders and ages, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, Down’s syndrome, apraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, cerebral palsy, Non-fatal Drowning, genetic disorders, language disorders, articulation disorders and more. She is Level 1 PROMPT trained and a Level 4 Core in Training in Masgutova Neuro-sensory-motor Reflex Integration (MNRI). Taking these courses in reflex integration has completely changed the way Kaity has viewed communication disorders and treats the body as a whole, working on the underlying causes.
