Ontario Center for Special Education
A mother of a child with Autism founded the Ontario Center for Special Education (OCSE) in 2015 due to extreme hardships locating appropriate support. Through her extensive travels across the world, she discovered different therapies and programs inspiring her passion and desire to develop a center within the State of Qatar for individuals with complex language, learning, and cognitive challenges. As a mother, she wanted to ease the pain of all mothers by giving them the help and support they needed once they received the news that their child might be different. Through her son’s treatment in Canada and the U.S., she was introduced to all forms of special education, therapeutic services, and facilities that were provided for people with special needs. The dream was to be able to bring all those world-class services, and experts in the area of special education under one roof in Qatar. You do not need to travel and look for the best programs for your child because they are now available in your local community. The standards are set very high, and we took into consideration the finest details to make sure that we have taken care of you and your loved ones with needs.<br /> Our Center provides innovative services that fit the individual needs of this special population in a luxurious and stimulating environment for ages 2-25. OCSE is also the first semi-boarding facility in the State of Qatar were we accommodate students in a day and evening programs that start at 8:30am, and end at 8:00pm. Those who participate in the semi-boarding program will experience a comfortable home like environment that includes an intensive therapeutic program.
