Protea School
At Protea, we approach learning differently from mainstream schools. The learners receive a lot of individual attention and help. Their strengths and weaknesses are identified and our teaching methods and work charts are tailored to help every learner according to his or her needs. All the senses are involved in learning shapes, letters and numbers. New concepts are presented in a concrete and multi-sensory manner. The playground has various devices that promote and enhance fine and great motor coordination. The teachers have a sympathetic approach to each child and are trained to identify their learners' special learning needs.
