Sevadaan Special School
Sevadaan Special School was inaugurated by Mother Theresa on 31st May 1984. It has been a dream built on the initiative and foresight of Fr. Frank Toner CssR, as there was no such school in the vicinity. It caters to the developmentally delayed children between the ages of 4 to 18 Yrs. from different sections of society.<br /> Emphasis is laid on training every child to deal with the normal functions of daily life and most of all to integrate him/her into the mainstream of society through interaction with regular schools and the community, through sports, dramatics & play, etc. We also take the students out on Educational Excursions once a year to different places in India, sometimes along with regular school children.
