Sonitus School
With the opening of the school, 40 pupils are enrolled here. Some of the pupils were transferred from the Transoranjeskool for the Deaf while others were never at school, some pupils came from ordinary schools or schools for other disabilities. The pupils were divided scholastically from toddlers to St 5. The school showed a slow growth in pupil numbers, but by the end of 1973 there were 55 pupils.
