Special School - Apostolos Varnavas
The Special School of Ap. Varnavas, which is part of the Department of Primary Education, was founded and functioned initially in the town of Famagusta. During the Turkish invasion, in 1974, the school was forcibly closed and some of the children studying there continued to attend the Special School "Ag. Spyridon "in Larnaca. In 1980 the school reopened in an old building in the village of Liopetri of the free Famagusta District.
