The Phoenix School
The individualized educational program is designed to help students with all types of learning disabilities (A.D.D., A.D.H.D., and verbal Autism Spectrum Disorder) achieve their potential. The school offers an individualized educational program for grades 1-12. The Phoenix School believes that the arts contribute to the development of the total student and therefore, the school uses an arts-based curriculum designed to enhance creativity and to challenge the student, as well as remediate basic deficiencies. This approach successfully combines knowledge, imagination, and cognitive skills. Projects and field trips are an important part of the curriculum.
