Vikasa Special School
The Vijayanagar Disable Welfare Association established in 1997 with the sole aim of giving Education, training, counselling and providing guidance to children and youth who are mentally and Physically challenged.<br /> The association aims to make these citizens' self –reliant, thereby bringing them under the main Stream of society.<br /> Our association is also registered under 12A of the income Tax Act 1961.<br /> The association is currently running a school called “Vikasa” (With trained teachers), where around 48 Children are being trained to make use of their special abilities.<br /> This special school “Vikasa” Mainly depend on the donations given by charitable institutions and Philanthropic individuals for its smooth and effective functioning, Needless to say, it has been a Challenging task to run the special school.
