Vivek Singh Special School
The Land for the school was donated by the philanthropist Shri Somnath Sakhare and soon a spanking new school building with provisions for all facilities required was constructed on the land. <br /> From 4 students in a 12' x 12' room in the home of a well wisher, the school is now a 10,000 sq. ft. school building with 60 students including 2 residential students. The school facilitates children with all the necessary facilities like Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Paediatric Therapy and many others including the training on vocational skills to help them achieve the goal of living an independent life. Emphasis is given on IEP (Individualized Education Program), meditation and physical training.
