Westlawn School
Westlawn School is a private independent school serving 3rd -7th grade students. Westlawn students have above average intellectual ability, and are perhaps even gifted in certain areas. In the traditional school setting, he/she/they may struggle with social relationships and have difficulty communicating with others and making friends. This student may have occasional outbursts when situations feel out of control or may seem withdrawn and isolated from the group. He/she/they may struggle with anxiety, perform poorly on tests, and may have trouble with executive functions such as preparing and organizing materials. While excelling in one area this student may perform poorly in others, even though they are intelligent and able to learn.
