Cyprus Autism Association
The Autism Association was founded in 1990 and is recognized by the state as a charitable non-profit organization. We are a member of AUTISM EUROPE and WORLD AUTISM ORGANIZATION. The main purpose of our Association is to work to secure the rights of Autistic people. In order to ensure a better quality of life. This is what we are trying to achieve by guaranteeing them the right, lifelong, for access to education and treatments that they are in need of.<br /> Our Association has been working with great success since May 2004 in Limassol, the first specialized Intervention Center for Rehabilitation, Training, Treatment, Protection and Employment for Children and Adults with Autism Syndrome. In January 2009, we created and operate an identical Center in Pafos to serve people with autism in Paphos.<br /> In January 2010, we took another step further and created and operate up to date an identical Center in Nicosia to serve people with autism in Nicosia.We aspire to create Centers in all the provinces of Free Cyprus. Our work does not stop here, however. we have proceeded to find and rent in cooperation with KE.P.K.K. space that will function as a Sensory Integration Area.<br /> Association for People with Autism of Cyprus
