Leeds Autism Services
Leeds Autism Services
Founded in 1988 as a Christian foundation charity, Leeds Autism Services aims to provide excellence in services to people with autism. The original provision was our residential home, Ashlar House. This was followed in 1995 by the opening of day services, offering a whole variety of skills to people on the autism spectrum. In 2013 our day services were changed to LAS Vocational and Community Services (VACS) in order to reflect the large range of individual services we offer which includes day services, community outreach, access to work and education, behaviour support, training and consultancy. We offer support ranging from 2hrs per week to 24hrs per day, 365 days a year. Our residential and VACS services are accredited by the National Autistic Society who provide us with a unified standard of excellence and a systematic framework for continuous self-examination and development.
