Yayasan MPATI
The Society for Caring for Autism Indonesia (MPATI) was established in Jakarta, June 24, 2004 by Gayatri Pamoedji, a mother of autistic teenagers and a group of observers of the problem of autism in Indonesia. MPATI is a non-profit foundation that focuses its activities on empowering parents, teachers and therapists to be able to provide appropriate education and guidance for children with autism. MPATI also strives to become an information center on autism in Indonesia. To date, MPATI has successfully fostered collaboration with other foundations in Indonesia and Australia (ISADD & YISADDI, Foundation Interventions Services for Autism Delay Disorder) in developing programs, applying and disseminating information about the handling of autism. The sources of funds owned by the foundation are obtained from the results of seminars, workshops, book sales, donations from private banks, government banks, management of foundations and individual donors. The annual financial report is examined and audited by a registered accountant.
